Easter

Yes, I know. Easter was last month. But anyone who reads this knows I am always WAY behind. So, here are the pictures from Easter finally. This year we spent Easter weekend at the lake with my parents, Ryan's parents, my sister and her husband and kids and Ryan's brother and his kids. It was so much fun as usual. Then we headed back home Saturday night so we could celebrate our risen Lord at church Easter Sunday morning! It was a wonderful weekend! Not only celebrating with family but also teaching our children the true meaning of Easter. Eli is so eager to learn and hear all we can teach him about God and how he sent his son Jesus to die for our sins. We got to tell him the story of the last days of Jesus' life starting Thursday night at church. We celebrated Maunday Thursday at church. This was the day Jesus had the last supper with his disciples. Then Friday we explained that this was the day Jesus actually died for our sins on the cross. But on Sunday, this wonderful day we got to finish the story. That Christ did not stay in the grave, but he rose from the dead and he is now in heaven with God. So one day if we believe in Christ as our saviour and confess Christ is Lord, we will be saved and live forever with him in heaven. Never to be separated from God. Wow! We serve a wonderful mighty God!

More four-wheelin' and fun with friends

We went over to Ms. Kelli's house the other day to have some fun playing outside. We had so much fun, as usual! Mia got so dirty that I think I am going to have to throw her outfit away. I am on wash number 10 and the stains still will not come out. But it was worth it!

Eli's first T-ball game!

This is Eli's first year to play T-ball and he has had lots of fun! Ryan is one of his coaches and is doing a great job. His other coach is my friend Heather's husband Jason. Heather and I got stuck with "team mom". Actually it hasn't been to bad using team work. It has been a good season so far. Here are some pictures from his first game!

The Raptors!
They look like a force to be reckoned with, huh?
This is Sue, Ryan's Mom. Check out her shirt.
She found it and had to wear it for Eli's first game.

This is the shirt she wore when Ryan played T-ball!
Isn't that so cute?

Girl's Weekend

Well, we had our annual Ladies Retreat back in April. Wow! Was it fun! We had such a blast. I am so blessed to have such an awesome group of ladies surrounding me all of the time. My Mom tells me all of the time how sweet my friends are and she is so right. These girls are so genuine and caring. We really love each other and pray for each other. Ryan and I could not ask for a better church family. This year at our ladies retreat my mom got to come. It was so fun having her there. And next year maybe my mother-in-law and my sister will get to come. I actually forgot to invite them this year. I thought I had, but really didn't. Sorry you guys. You know what a ding-bat I can be. Anyways, enjoy the pictures from the weekend.

My friend April and me.
April is the most beautiful person
inside and out. I mean it.
You will never find a sweeter girl than this!
