Today Eli came home from Mother's Day Out and we had a very interesting conversation. It went a little bit like this:
"Mommy, I got strep throat at school today".
"Really? Why? Was your throat hurting?"
"Yea. I think my brain went into my throat and made it hurt."
"Really?"
"Yea."
Long pause.
"Mommy, what's a brain?"
Don't you just hate it when your brain goes into your throat? I love this age. They say the funniest stuff. He always keeps us laughing.
Finally, the wedding pictures! I have been wanting to post these pictures since the day after the wedding, but I couldn't until Tamra and Paul got back from the honeymoon. Then, when they got back we had Thanksgiving and all other sorts of activities that have kept me from posting. So, here they are. This is going to be the most pictures ever posted on a blog. But I hope you enjoy them!

This picture is of Cait showing Mia the bracelet her new Dad gave her. It was a charm bracelet that had a heart charm engraved "Dad". He gave Benjamin a bible. The kids were so proud of there gifts.

It was like a fall festival of sorts. GiGi came to our house that weekend and went with us. Ryan was out of town that night. The kids had a blast! Thank you Ms. Danta for putting it on!

Some friends of ours, Angela & Kevin gave us a "family movie night" box. It had lots of fun stuff in it like a gift card to a local movie place, popcorn, coke, etc. So, we packed the kids up and took them to their first trip to the movie store. Can you believe it! Then we picked out a great action movie - The 3 Musketeers (the Mickey Mouse version). We went home and ate corn dogs in the living room, which is a big treat because we NEVER eat in the living room. Then we popped popcorn and watched our movie. It was so much fun! It is a night we will remember for a long time. Thanks Angela & Kevin!

My sweet niece Riley just had her first Birthday! Really she is my cousin Michelle's baby girl, but Michelle is like a sister to me. Happy Birthday sweet baby girl! We hope you had a wonderful birthday. We can't wait to see you grow up and be all God planned for you to be.

These are Eli's "BESTEST" friends!Today Mia and Eli were in my room playing. Mia picked up a book of mine about marriage and said "Mama. I wanna wead dis". So, I told her "No baby. You wouldn't like that book." Eli was listening and said "what's it about?" So, I told him "Marriage". And he said "oh, so is it a scary book?" I just had to laugh. The answer Eli is "yes, it is scary sometimes"! =)
